Whispers from the Holy Spirit

I'm trying a new policy: Forgiveness.  Dwelling on grudges takes too much precious brain reserves. It pulls our attitude down, draws our attention from the Lord and drains or strength.  Everyone gets a free pass, myself included.  This last part is especially sweet in that I've spent years beating myself up for things I didn't know better about in the past.  When I start down that path now, I just say "free pass" and let it go.  I can feel myself stand taller and breathe deeper.  Amazing.  Tomorrow let's look at how this affects "forgiving us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us".  What potential!  Thank You, Father.

  Obedience and Order   Even though he didn’t know it, Joseph was busy preparing Pharo’s nation for his future rule. Creating order--maybe one of God’s   most important and ongoing commands.   Creating order, interpreting God’s wishes, preparing for His future plans.   The work that God is doing in the background.   We are God’s hands on earth. “Beauty, order and abundance will fill the world.” Skye Jethani from “ With ,” page 140.   Do they encourage hope? Beauty promotes a peaceful countenance.   Instead of working from a todo list, observe what causes unease and what changes would promote peace.   Ask for God’s guidance here.   What a blessing in disguise.
