It’s a good thing that we feel down when we haven't at least been reading, let alone studying. When we are immersed in the world we become like the world. To regain God’s peace we have to water our souls with His word and His Word. That’s the way God designed it. Better choices > better lives. Once again, God wants us to choose Him. If you’re interested in knowing God, consider John 6:44 where Jesus says: 44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. Prepare for the Father to draw you by praying the one prayer God answers for the unsaved, a prayer for their salvation and a relationship with Him. The definition of Christianity is, your personal relationship with God. Everything else, particularly our good works, is Religion, seldom spoken of favorably in the Bible.
