It occurred to me today that maybe the reason the two most recent temp jobs I had, which seemed to have been made just for me; maybe the reason they failed is because I was supposed to be spending my time writing, instead.

Acknowledge - Recognize Him in all you do. 1 Peter 5:1-5 Humility. When the time is right, God wants to exalt us. Lay aside you own efforts. Never pretend. Never presume. Never push. Stand for: what is right, who you are, stand for God but let Him do the pushing. Submit yourself under the might had of God and He will lift you up. Have the courage to do what is right and good because you under the mighty hand of God. Be who you are, where you are. Be honest. Reassess and change behaviors if necessary. Our lives are our stage to accomplish what God has in mind for us. We are each responsible for maintaining our stage. It has taken me 40 years of salvation to realize that maintaining my life's stage is a main job.

There is a devotional I bought a friend as a gift and she loved it. She re-read it each year. It is titled: "Jesus Speaks" by Steve Scott. I see why she loved it so much. It is written from Jesus' point of view. She tried to explain this to me and I just didn't understand. I had gotten a copy for myself but hadn't started to read it.
