Responsibility

 I think it was Charles Stanley who said, most people don’t live their lives, they just let them happen. 

Don’t let YOUR life just happen. Let me say that again: Don’t let YOUR life just happen.                     One consequence is accomplishments.  If you don’t have a vision/map, you just wander around getting (pun intended) whatever comes to you. 

Gentleman that He is, God doesn’t force Himself and His ways on us.  He wants/is waiting for us to make a choice, to Choose Him and His help.  If we don’t make decisions and follow through, with God’s help, satan is just biding his time until he can take over.  

Goals/plans help us live life with direction, we don’t have to make minute decisions all day long, our goal and plans are set out in advance.  We get to spend more time during the day with God and be more productive at the same time.   

Take responsibility, make conscious decisions.  Own those decisions and follow through on them.  Start small, don’t overwhelm yourself.  Take your new life a step at a time.  Think about what you learn in the process and share what you learn about God and life as a successful Christian with others, a step at a time.

God's Intended Life for Me

Slowly, consistently, gently, work toward producing a setting which can sustain the life that God intended for me.  Allow His true meaning (physical and emotional) for my life to thrive. Let Prayer and Gratitude survive.  Make them a centerpiece. Stop constantly and consciously surrounding myself with negative memories of my past.  Let God’s intended life for me take hold and grow. Positive , loving , God-Centered Peacefulness and Gentleness .  Let go of all the negative situations I surround myself with. Shun human standards. Meditate and pray, making choices about my actions beforehand to lessen the harshness of my autism. Look to other Christian women as examples. Always be aware of being under His gentle, loving wing. He is our Father and He truly loves us. Never forget, He made us for the purpose of having a relationship with Him.
