If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father. In the New Testament, just like the parables, Jesus was specificlly vague, wanting people to watch, decide, choose for themselves. Don’t watch for instructions, listen for circumstances, clues, evidence of Jesus’ life. It was a picture of how we will interact with the Father. subtly. Don’t bluster through life, just just doing. Listening to the Father is our first priority. Father’s relationship first. Loving the neighbor as thyself second, Loving God is our first commandment. Thomas and Philip weren’t listening. Mary, Martha’s sister, was. She knew AND CHOSE the “important thing”. Right now God is my main friend. Do what I’m supposed to and see what happens. Lack of self control is “borrowing happiness” from tomorrow. Don’t bark out negative replies, fit them into a gentle, factual sentence, being careful about the attitude. Under His wing, my first choice. If I didn’t love, would I care? Thank you, Father, for all the things you showed the me last couple of days!!!. Do you ever feel alone? As a child of God, we will have God’s attention 24/7 for eternity. No more loneliness. Forever. Ever! Eternity starting at the moment of salvation! Sata’s children, the world, will have no one. Satan doesn’t care about them once he’s sure of them. He will waste no time with them throughout eternity and they will be so miserable, they will want nothing to do with each other. Amazing. Let yourself enjoy God’s joy fully. Decide to not do something based on facts, not negative feelings. Let go of any feelings that are not positive. Allow joyousness into my life. Let strife and anger take flight. Don’t connect with them. ??????? instead of interacting with hate. My love of, tendency toward, sarcasm is a giant sign. I confess, sarcasm gives me pleasure Also, being blocked has its charm. Two-sided. ? Sometimes I just want to say something sarcastic. It feels good. Where does that come from? My continuance is both a gift and a responsibility. Overnight negative in general attitude, super positive in commitment. A very important one recently about motivation. Completing my daily tasks is a form of discipline which I will eventually be able to apply to my interactions with problem people like my neighbor. I will have acquired strength, more control over myself than they do by applying the same principles. Doing necessary daily chores gives confidence. Learn in private, apply in public. God gives believers a life to work with. It’s our choice. I believe emotional conditions are choices to be made. Possibly harder than in most lives. Potentially better rewards. Learn emotional self control through physical self control? Learn physically and then flex that muscle emotionally. Look at contentment/happiness as an account. Chores and to do items are opportunities for positive deposits. The “doing” counts as well as the finished product. Make bed, do dishes, pay bills, etc. We have control over these. Deposit more of these than the negative things. A much better investment of our time and efforts than trying to control others. Are controllers trying to compensate for their lack of control over themselves? Dallas Willard: Be in a position to be exalted. Being humble means to be realistic. 1 Peter 5:5-7/Joshua 1:8. Living humbly. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Under the mighty hand of God. I love Him in our lives. Be in a position to be exalted . under the mighty hand of God. Life only works with God’s help. PPP. never PRETEND. Never PRESUME that you should be treated in a certain way. Never PUSH. Stand for what is right, for who you are, and stand for God, let Him do the pushing. Under the mighty hand of God and He will exalt you. There’s nothing you wouldn’t do if you thought t was good because you’re under the mighty Hand of God. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and you will know the fullness of a spiritual life. Stay on that path.
