Prayer, Very Special

 Once again, reading and studying has set the stage for Good to influence me.   Today He brought to mind the powerful little gem He gave us in the book of Job.  I've been saved for 40 years and just recently noticed this for the first time.   Thank You,  Father.  

 Job has been one of my “go to” books when I'm not sure what to read. When I come to the 42nd chapter my attention is on finishing up this undertaking and getting on to something new.   I usually give it the attention of skimming. But a powerful statement just caught my eye.  Job 42:10 says, “And. the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends:  The KJV marks the prayer as a rewarding condition rather than a setting for the scene.  How powerful.  Prayer is absolutely necessary and has a powerful effect on our lives.  A very, very necessary condition. Both for us and the receiver.  From the receivers standpoint we have gifted them another encounter with God that day! Talk about matching funds!   Giving to the recipient quietly, anonymously, generously.  There are few things God loves more. What a stage we set for our life.  Both our lives.4.17.26


Just praying?  When things seem hopeless,  we can comfort ourselves by “just praying” to a God who can do all things, who is in charge.   At the same time we give God an opportunity to teach us patience and teach us to rely on Him.  We've used a very powerful tool from a very powerful ally to ease our hopelessness/helplessness.  Thank You,  Father. 4.17.26

God's Intended Life for Me

Slowly, consistently, gently, work toward producing a setting which can sustain the life that God intended for me.  Allow His true meaning (physical and emotional) for my life to thrive. Let Prayer and Gratitude survive.  Make them a centerpiece. Stop constantly and consciously surrounding myself with negative memories of my past.  Let God’s intended life for me take hold and grow. Positive , loving , God-Centered Peacefulness and Gentleness .  Let go of all the negative situations I surround myself with. Shun human standards. Meditate and pray, making choices about my actions beforehand to lessen the harshness of my autism. Look to other Christian women as examples. Always be aware of being under His gentle, loving wing. He is our Father and He truly loves us. Never forget, He made us for the purpose of having a relationship with Him.
