Clean Slate: gift/ticket

“Why did God choose Christ’s dying on the cross as the way to provide salvation for man”?  Everyone’s answers tell you about the follow-up logic, but I was thinking a step backward, and I think it’s all about choice and balance. 

God decided that Christ should die to pay for our sins and then offers us the resulting clean slate as a gift, if we choose to accept it.  This gift includes spending eternity with Him in Heaven.    

The consequences of saying “No” to God and His gift are equally as horrible as the time Christ spent on the cross. 

As life is a series of balances, eternity in Heaven with God will be as wonderful as eternity in Hell with Satan will be unbearable, magnified endless times (years) over.    

God bases the world on giving us the opportunity to Choose Him--for eternity and for our daily needs.

God is a gentleman, and He doesn’t force Himself on anyone.  He wants us to choose Him of our own free will.

When I'm nervous I talk. BE STILL .  Thank you for showing me that,  Father.    Being a Christian is in our heart rather than something we do.  Building our world on ungodly principles, misrepresenting God's true meanings and following self-proclaimed Christian examples turns our rock-solid foundation to styrofoam.  We will all answer to God for the decisions we make here on earth.   God doesn't schedule in idleness .  God doesn't plan for obesity . God doesn't  factor in missed, unprepared-for opportunities . Each of those is a total waste of God’s intentions, resources, plans for our lives.
